He got real lucky. 30 seconds after he jumped in he lost his board and it's a long way to a safe spot to get out... his luck was the tide took him to the get out point... his board was trashed on the rocks.

Thank you very much. Toilet Bowl is to the right of the the point seen here. It's a "U" shaped alcove that fasces directly into the waves. You get sucked into there when the surf is up and you're in serious trouble. A boogy-boarder died there this past January. I'm surprised I don't have a photo posted of "Toilet Bowl". I'll do so today.
