CAPTAIN’S OBSERVATIONS: Jaxon is quick witted and clever, and a hard worker... but he’s secretive about his past. I suspect it has something to do with his time working aboard the Shadows of the Rambler. The Shadows are a pirate fleet wanted in several sectors, known for kidnapping civilians. Those who can pay their ransom are freed, those who can’t are forced labor. Due to my own time trapped on the flagship of the Shadows’ fleet and Jaxon‘s... close relationship with my engineer, Lysander, I’ve decided to grant him temporary sanctuary aboard the Cobalt Solace with the hope that I won’t regret it later. So far, he’s been an asset rather than a hindrance... which is all I can really ask of my crew.
