Description
So, the deciding factor for me getting a new PC was trying to render this environment. I wanted to do a picture of Lysander seeing a tree from Earth and staring up at it excitedly, since he's a human fanboy. But with the recent crew additions, I realized that this setting would be great for a slice of life shot of the crew on a space station, enjoying a day out. Here we see Lysander, Grayson, Dash and Ozzy having fun. Ozzy is enjoying the balloon Dash got him, and Lysander is climbing Grayson like a tree, since the Earth tree is clearly not sturdy enough to support him. Around them, we see a variety of alien lifeforms that I had a lot of fun positioning. Also, what do you think of my gardening skills?

Awwwww, scenes like this are so hard to set up and you made it work so well. I love Dash's expression and Ozzy with that balloon is just awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Thank you so much! It was actually really fun but it took like 15 hours just to get this smallish render. Iβll definitely be doing more like this in the future though, I loved it!

That's the last time I did a crowded scene like this. Still in Poser back then. I dug through all the freebies which came with it to get those swamp things, robots and grey aliens lol

I canβt imagine trying to handle this in Poser!

It's not that much different from Daz and at least back then it rendered MUCH faster. Didn't look photorealistic of course but you could produce a basic render in like 20min.

True, true, but DAZ is such a resource hog compared to Poser, for me. Of course, I was also using Poser Pro 2010, so... xD
