Description
Thanks to one inattentive 2008 Acura TL driver who came out of a side street and failed to stop turning onto my road directly in front of me, the 1993 Sharpie Chevrolet S10 Blazer is dead. The front frame is bent and the repair costs will exceed the value of the car. The TL is totaled as well as his entire front end is tweaked while the Blazer still remains straight everywhere else. Goes to show you that metal is still better than the plastic cars they put out these days. Thanks to those who followed me because of this car. I'm going to try and take the hood, gas door, rear spoiler wing and rear tailgate that has the artwork off and keep those. I ask you to stay tuned as I already have another possible vehicle lined up and the new one will be a fresh canvas for more artwork.

Definitely needs to be a first gen s-series for your art work. The best ever made. I have 2 blazers both 4 door a 92 and a 93. Sucks its damaged so badly from the wreck. Good thing is it kept you safe! And without air bags either! Just my opinion, i wouldnt care if the parts needed to fix it cost more than the "value" of the vehicle is. Id still fix it but thats because i have an obsession with these. Ill be picking up a 2door someday gonna be an 83-85 2.8L 5speed blue with blue interior. My 92 is red and white with red interior. Will probably get an extended cab 5speed too 2.8 or 4.3.

You don't live in or near Southeastern Pennsylvania do you? My dad had a black 1993 S10 Blazer 2-door that he bought new in June 1993, exactly like yours. He traded it for a new 1996 Nissan Pathfinder. I would be very happy if you did this Sharpie art on our old family vehicle, but very sad because some idiot ran a stop sign and totaled it.

No, I live in central North Carolina. I was the third owner of my Blazer. The original owner had it since new for 12 years until she died from uterus cancer and it passed on to her family member who used it as a spare vehicle. She couldn't bear to get rid of it but it was sitting there for two years not being used. I'm a very close family friend and I used to know the original owner pretty well so the second owner entrusted it to me and I got it back up and running. It was well cared for by me until this happened, of course.

Sad end of an outstanding ride. I know some other examples that ended even worse. Like Skoda Fabia CCF crashed around 2011

My dad's friend had an old diesel truck that was metal and we were using it at the time. Some car almost hit us and my dad was all, "C'mon, hit me. Let's see which vehicle gets more totaled"

It's always the same. When you put a lot of effort into a car someone always wrecks it. I haven't even washed my present car in three years and it hasn't even suffered a scratch.

True but I just can't help it. I only have this one life and I can't afford to drive boring cars. I want unique vehicles, always have.

If I were to recommend a replacement, I'd say an '89 Ford Explorer. Built like a tank and featured in Jurassic Park. Plenty of flat surfaces, too.

I'm currently looking at a '89 Mitsubishi Montero. It's nice and flat, has a good engine, doesn't require anything to be fixed and looks similar to a Land Rover.
