Oh my god, it's beautiful!
I have watched springtails this closely with a microscope, but a broken, dead body floating in alcohol is not the same as the living creature.
After seeing this, I'm not at all confused about my zoology lecturers passionate love for these things. They are fabulous.

Man, I need to get me this lens and find me some of those things next summer. LOL I'll tell you what, I'll trade you some Jumping Bristletails for some of these. I have no problems finding those.
