Taking by reference your previous work, I personally think that this is not one of your best pieces; much of the colorful scheme and iconic impact you portrait in past deviations seems to be toned down by a overly rigid composition that fails to give the viewer a clear sense of visual hierarchy.

For instance: your composition sets in three vertically overlaid layers (dragonfly, coffins and man with a top hat) which occupy about the same amount of space, leaving each image plainly set in an unimaginative grid.

By applying this scheme, the viewer is immediately drawn to focus on the midsection of the piece, which might as worked if your main image didn’t lack so much impact, dynamism or sheer size.

Per haves I’m going a bit over my head, but I really think that you’re sacrificing too much presence to the piece by recurring to a mirrored and flat composition.

I so much enjoy your work and wish you the best of luck with all of your current and future projects. (Hope I wrote a bit a sense, I’m not costumed to write in English in a fluent manner)
