I've had this idea kicking around for a long time and I actually draw it a long time ago, but this weekend I decided to redo it.
My Monster High character, Mimi.
I'm aware clowns and Mimes aren't monsters, but i don't much care.

My favorite part of this is her pose, and the attitude it gives off. I like how relaxed she is, leaning against some invisible...thing to lean one, and how she's got one leg bent in front of the other and her other arm resting on her hip. Her head's tilted just a bit and everything has this really confident, effortless feel to how she conducts herself. Like, she's almost showing off a bit, taking it easy and almost challenging us, saying "what next?" Except without the cockiness and snark. But I like that confidence that comes through in her pose! And I think I point that out a lot when I comment on stuff, but it's something special here - I love how it's not just that she's confident in a generic way, but there's this...edge isn't the right word, but this more active hint of her letting us know that she knows she's awesome at miming. I mean, even when she's relaxing she's miming leaning against something.
And maybe another subtle thing that makes me think all of this about her personality is her smirk. I dunno, it seems like her lips are perked out and her chin sticking out just a bit in a way that sells that confidence. Or maybe I'm thinking too much into it.

There actually are lots of clown monsters out there, Penny Wise, the Killer Clowns from Outter Space, ETC.
I'm sure on day you'll find a type of monster myth to go along with her! Maybe Mr. Mime from PowerPuff girls?
