why do i see such an increase of people just blantantly ripping off makanis style and sense of humor? It's sad and it never ever matches to the real thing. Get your own style.

If this was a problem, Makani herself would have confronted me about it. But apparantly, she added me on her friends list, so I don't think there's a problem. And how can someone steal someone's sense of humor? I'm not taking the same jokes she uses because she does HP art, and I do POTO art, so it's not like I could use those jokes anyway.
It's really rude to post comments like this because if you don't have anything good or encouraging to say about someone's art, then don't say anything.

I just think its sad that people just blantantly copy her and go on saying things like 'this is in my style' Come on, you even copied her signature. The jokes are un-funny and look as though they are trying to be of makanis wit and NATURAL funniness but just arent up to par. Normal people are just inspired by artist they like, they don't lamely attempt to be them in everyway. Get your own identity and style. No one ever got anywhere being a wannabe.

Why would I copy her signature? That doesn't even make any sense. If you know me, I've had that signature for a long time. As I've said before, the only person who should accuse me of "copying her" is Makani herself, because you shouldn't just go on someone's site and claim that that they are copying someone else, especially when you don't even know the person.

dude its obvious your doing her exact style by looking at your pictures. Art being on the those things you can judge purely by looking at it. makani is used to people copying her obviously, because alot of people do it. It's flattering to be copied but its sort of lame when you cant sprout out in your own thing after awhile.
