Description
Two years of Phantom crazy today, so of course I drew something to commemorate it.Epic fencing bout between me and Gerik. Too bad all he knows is theatrical fencing.
Keep your show-and-go on the movie set, bub.
Erik knows how to judge fencing. Who'd a thunk?

Why do people write Gerik and what does it mean not to sound stupid

Gerik = Gerard Butler's portrayal of Erik aka the Phantom of the Opera.
You may also see Merik for Michael Crawford, but it is much less common.

Haha, yeah. Since I fenced, I can't look at movies anymore without thinking "This is so wrong...!"

Love your signature quote--must ask: Who's William? Is this from a fanfic or a version I haven't seen/read?

No. William Shakespeare. Just a couple of ghosts discussing how to properly haunt a theatre.
