Description
This has been sitting in my in progress bin for ages. I finally decided I wasn't going to do any more to it, so here it is. It was inspired by 's comic, "Don't I know you?" [link]I have always laughed at the huge difference between the stage and movie PONR costumes. I know that the Grim Reaper robe would have looked ridiculous on the big screen, but how on earth did anyone in the audience, not to mention Christine, miss the fact that Don Juan went from short and tubby to tall, dark and sexy in a matter of minutes? At least the robe leaves some margin of doubt. Oh well, Gerry's pants make up for it!

I agree completely. Andrew Lloyd Webber was BEYOND half-baked, in my opinion, when he did the 2004 PotO. To be honest, not offend/upset/piss off anyone, but I cannot stand the 2004 version. It sucks, I think.

Also in the play she pulls off his hood, and thus knows it's him, and then he wanders from the script and confesses love to her, after which Christine pulls of his mask and he takes her to his lair screaming things like "NOOOOO NOO NOOOOOO!!!!", you know it well enough.
While in the movie I never got that part, since there NOTHING changes when he wanders from the script. When I saw the movie I was like "WTF DUDE, you're blowing your (already lousy) cover by this!", only when I saw the play I actually got how it was meant to be, lol

I think she did realize it though--which was the reason for him putting his hands to his lips in a shhh motion, they were all transfixed by his hotness. Thats my story and i'm sticking too it ^^
