My "last favorite" pokemon...I faced that question: " What pokemon you do not like "
I hate Genesect.
The reasons I hate it:
- I did not like them plot. (Based on the Movie)
- That shiny Genesect is an asshole.
- That movie also screwed the mewtwo (even though other mewtwo)
- It is bug type, I hate bug type. Understand that I hate this kind of battles, not that I hate every bug pokemon, ok?
- No Enjoyed his appearance.
- That genesect on the movie is very annoying (the little one) and was based on it I did the drawing.
Anyway, I do not like him!

I chalked up the Red Genesect's ridiculous hostility to him being overprotective of his colony and extremely distrustful of their new world. He's just woken up in a new world and already has had a terrible experience with humans that makes him hate them (Team Plasma trying to control them like weapons), and a flying cat psychic suddenly saying she can help them not only sounds too good to be true but also an attempt at some trap. As Mewtwo said, he thought everyone was his enemy, which pretty much means he didn't know who to trust. Later, when his own colony tries to stop him after realizing they shouldn't fight, he probably thinks they've been brainwashed or have betrayed him. After Mewtwo makes him see that not everyone is out to get him and his colony, THEN he calms down and acts more like who he was before he and his colony died and were revived in the P2 Lab.
I do agree that the movie sucked, though. I wish they explored more of the dynamic between the five Genesect, or at least gave flashbacks of how they lived together before they died, revived and were altered instead of just flashes of their home.

Same. Scyther is my favorite bug type though, even if I think alot of bug types don't look cool.

I am not that much of a Pokémon fan, but Genesect (and some other bug types) really catched my heart!

I just did not like his show, but the character can have many positive points that I can not be achieved as you viewed!
Who knows in the future I take more empathy with him, but until then it's my least favorite x3

He has the potential to be a great plot but so far have not seen it work right.
