1. Get a blonde, and a white wig.I used the 28" Eros Natural blonde: www.epiccosplay.com/eros-28-na…
and the 28" Eros White: www.epiccosplay.com/eros-28-wh…
These are lace front, and they are awesome because they come with a "skin" top, so you can part them any way you want.
Of course, you don't have to buy these wigs exactly, but if you don't get these, make sure you at least get wigs that are heat resistant, or you will have to find a different way to do the last part of this tutorial.
2. Put your blonde wig on your wig head, and set your white wig aside (yes, aside in my case was to lay it nicely on the floor)
Something you need to know before you start (especially if you are a beginner) is these wigs are tangle resistant, but they are still going to get tangled. Resist the urge to brush your wig like normal hair. The fibers are made of plastic, so when you brush them like normal hair, it breaks, causing it to feel like horse hair. To get around this, brush it very slowly, and carefully. When you get to a section that has a tangle, focus on it, brushing it softly until it untangles.
I know it says look down here for wig shine. I noticed this wig was a little too shiny for my taste. You don't want to do this until after you've sewn all of your wefts in, but if you want to get rid of some extra shine, putting it in a bath of fabric softener seems to work really well. You have to soak it for a couple days to really get the shine out. It's soap, so it will be safe for all wigs, but know that when you go to wash your wig, the soap will wash out, and you'll have to do it over again.
3. Section off where you would like to add the white highlights, and pin the hair out of the way. I used a big clip to "pin it out of the way" and it worked really well. When you're choosing where to add the highlights, starting from the bottom up is your best option. Leave a couple of layers of blonde before your first highlight, or it will be way too white on bottom. remember: we're adding the white to highlight, not battle the blonde over what color the wig is.
Onto the next page!
