Description
Watch out for big thing! This is a tutorial I wrote originally for my blog half a year back. I was supposed to translate it sooner, but I never had the time and I was a bit lost with the vocabulary... I guess I still am, but I did my best - if you see any crucial errors, do to tell me and I can try to fix it.
Also, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

*menee stalkkimaan sun blogia* >8D

What a wonderful tutorial
But what kind of fabric would you recommend using for the weft? does it have to be adhesive? and where can you get fabric like that?
I'm sorry for the many questions, but I really hope you will help me ^^-

Thanks! And no worries about the questions, my vocabulary is just a bit limited but let's see if I can explain...
The fabric I'm talking about is the same kind people use to stiffen and/or support the clothing. My dictionary says it's called buckram, but I'm not sure since the wikipedia article [link] would suggest it's not exactly like that (though if not, it's very close - I think the prime difference is that the fabric I was using seemed much lighter).
So the adhesive in the fabric is mainly for support's sake. It melts and sticks to the fibre when you iron over it, and I think the result is much more durable that way.
I'm not sure what the stores are like over there, but I think you should be able to get fabric like this in just about any store that specializes in fabric.

Wow! I love this method, surprised I didn't think of it myself before. MUCH cleaner and simpler than the caulking method, thanks a lot!

I think I might like this tutorial a lot better than the caulking method. It's less messy and a lot faster. I think I'll try it today. Thank you for posting! I was able to understand your tutorial perfectly.
