Personality:

Playtime Ennard is ridiculously sociable and good-tempered. He is most used to and, likewise, more comfortable around children. Perhaps the most daunting for him is when a parent takes complaint with him or confronts him—usually wrongly so, because Playtime Ennard never intends to cause trouble. He is quick to apologize, to the point where he may end up throwing himself under the bus for someone just to keep a conflict from escalating.

Aside from being self-sacrificing at times, another fault of his is his nosiness. Of course, his good intentions often lead him into asking where he shouldn't and looking into things that he's better off staying out of. He's learned the hard way not to get involved with families even when he sees signs of abuse or mistreatment towards the children. His instinct is to help children be happy and feel safe, so it took some time for him to be trained to refrain and betray his 'take action' approach to these situations.

Background:

Playtime Ennard was one of the first designs Afton drafted for his new independent business venture, incorporating more of a circus theme into concepts. He kept this robot simple before he would go onto more complex designs. A central cavity in the robot would hold a balloon pump, balloons, and other supplies for the animatronic to use. This was Afton experimenting with how much open space he could allow while still having all necessary functioning components and how he could disguise it, should this cavity be used for more devious purposes.

Ennard's obedience pleased Afton, but the robot's curiousity lead to his decommissioning. Ennard stumbled upon the darker intentions behind his creation and the horrible plans Afton had for the future. Playtime Ennard was immediately deactivated after this.
