Made in fall 2011. A quite strange idea, it started as a L-shape but I figured that it would be more interesting as a plus-shape. I love the thought of another world right around the corner. Disturbing place to be, unless gravity is relative to the side you live on. This is the revolving theory.I've been staring myself blind on it now, I would love to hear your thoughts on it!

I love this idea! I've always liked the concept of other worlds and parallel universes....

A constantly shifting world, inhabited by constantly shifting people. Once you set foot here, you will forever be aware of the darkness you have kept hidden, of the light you hav turned you back to, and the Feelings that make you all too human.

The love the concept. I must admit, though, when I first saw this as a thumbnail I thought that the house and grass and sky on the right were resting on the wings of some sort of bird. That, of course, only adds to its coolness!
I can't stop staring at this. I especially love the dark, dreary place in the middle. I find it intriguing, but I'm not sure why.

Well! I looked first at the green side, and then looked at the title, and then saw the shadowy side, and instantly thought "Grass is greener on the other side!"... with that phrase being the revolving theory.

I love the slight segmentation of the trees, house and background. It makes me feel like you can actually see the pieces starting to rotate. There is so much implied motion in this piece, I can see how one could get lost staring.

This reminds me of an idea I had (while trying to picture 4-space) where our movements in three dimensions could influence our position along some extra axis; so the space we see ourselves in is a piecework of various universes.
Anyway, very nice. I like that it's all photography and not a 3D-model.

The concept, the realization, the depiction of an intangible within a tangible, it's an excellent piece.

This is really quite amazing. "Staring yourself blind?" Very easy to do with this piece. Even after an indeterminate amount of analyzing, it still boggles the mind. Very nicely done. I also like the complete differences in, hmm, scenes would you call them? Or realities? And the floating in nowhere. Disturbing is a right, but also fascinating. To think, if one had grown up in such a place and to wonder, would they see only their world and be completely unaware of the others around them, or could they stop and wave at someone walking upside-down in relation to themselves, go up and down the staircases of their home world and even perhaps cross over? A tantalizing thought and a beautiful concept.
