Description
Made in fall 2011. A quite strange idea, it started as a L-shape but I figured that it would be more interesting as a plus-shape. I love the thought of another world right around the corner. Disturbing place to be, unless gravity is relative to the side you live on. This is the revolving theory.I've been staring myself blind on it now, I would love to hear your thoughts on it!
EDIT: wow, thanks for the DD! (-:

Two things. This to me, is an upgrade of M.C. Eisher. Second it reminds me of those painted wind twirlers made of wood. When the wind catches the wooden spiral, and it spins fast enough it becomes a whole image. So, if the wind or gravity of this place spun fast enough the question is, would all of the worlds melt together and become one? This is an amazing piece and the details, and concept bring it to life. Very well done.

CUDDLE BUG HUG BECAUSE I LOVE YOU
I've heard it said, and IΒ΄m sure it must be true, that receiving hugs is really very good for you. ThereΒ΄s a hug that says, hello, how are you? one especially to cheer you when youΒ΄re blue, A sad hug that says, I love you so, The really nice thing about hugs, I o admit, is the more you give away, the more you get, And this little cuddle bug has brought you agreat big hug from me, thatΒ΄s long overdue!

i see that the ground, like the tiles, flip around and becomes another grey, dark world.

The bottom of one place is the 'sky' of another?
... This is confusing, but after a few minutes of staring at it, I'm sure I'll understand xD

Very provocative. It feels as if these are layers of the same place, stretched out over time.

Awesome concept piece! You've communicated your idea very well. I really like the way you made the clouds come off the rectangle wall to the left in the grey dark area.

Bonjour.
Maybe this is an image a little too complicated, there are many details to include in To approach the concept of endless screw and parallel worlds. This complexity affects the reading of the image and makes it less percussive, effective than the rest of your production. I remain still Amazed by your talent and your sense of vision that make you a genius (oui, oui!)

Bonjour, I tend to agree, it is quite complex. I experimented with a lot of different angles and ways to visualize it. But I somehow liked this one the most. I don't think I will do another complex piece like this one in a while, the next one is a lot simpler

Interesting concept. I'm thinking about how the gravity (relative or not as you said) would work between the "stairs". Could it be possible to traverse into another world through them just as easily as you can see through?
You could just upload these straight into my favourites folder.
