Description
I wanted to create an impossible library with a magical feel, the way a library opens up a world of imagination. It's a project I started working on already two years ago but didn't find all the pieces I was looking for to build up the scene until this year.In a way it's a variation of "The Architect" ( www.erikjo.com/work/the-architβ¦) but it's a different illusion as you're looking up on the scene instead of down. It was already published a few weeks ago at my first exhibition in Seoul, Korea.
I'd love to hear your thoughts about it? What comes to your mind when you see it?

That perspective is really trippy, it's totally messing with my head.Β
I love how much fun this is. The magic of optical illusions adds so much to the story of the image.Β

mindbending indeed, good work!
the "forest" feel is a bit diminished by the sky coming between from the branches on the left, for me a real forest is a place where you rarely see the sky unless you look straight up, since there are no trees (and bark) on the sides so it feels more like an overgrown back yard
how many unfinished projects do you have and how long does it take for one to finish? (asking because you almost always say that you've started a pieces a long time ago)

not all projects takes this long, but I do usually have around 5 long term projects that are half finished for long periods of time

Oh that's brilliant - an inside-out library! Bending my brain, no matter how long I look at it.Β
And the *detail*! Wow.
