Ok so, I wasn't really planning on writing another Danny Phantom x reader fan fiction. But I saw that a lot of people add my first one to their favorites and to a bunch of different groups. So, I'm writing another one, obviously. Just one quick note, during this story, you do know that Danny is part ghost and you have met some of his past enemies. And lastly, this is not a continuation of my first Danny Phantom fan fiction. So, yeah that's it. Enjoy

'I'm late, I'm late. I'm so late.' You think to yourself as you race through the park. 'I'm late for my study date with Danny.' Ah yes, Danny Fenten. Your best friend ever since you two were 5. Right now, you were supposed to meet Danny for a study date, because he was having trouble with biology and he asked you for some help. You would've been there sooner, but you ran into some trouble with your ex-boyfriend Dash. Yeah, you dated the quarter-back for the high school football team. Why? You didn't even know anymore. The only thing you do know is the reason you broke up is because he had been beating Danny up right in front of you. You remember it like it was a few hours ago.
~~~~~~~~~Flashback~~~~~~~~~
You were walking through the hallways afterschool, on your way to the football field to watch Dash practice for the big game against West High next Saturday night. You made sure to wear his leather jacket that he let you keep. It was kinda like a sign that said 'Hey I have a boyfriend, and he's a jock.' As you were walking down the hallway, you saw something that made your tracks. You see Dash hitting and kicking Danny multiple times. As you could tell from all the bruises and the black eye that Danny had, this had been going on for minutes, maybe even an hour. "Dash, stop. What are you doing!!" You yell as you run up to Danny to further inspect his bruises. "(Name) babe, this isn't what it looks like." "Oh really, because it looks like you're beating Danny up for no apparent reason." You yell at him as you stand in front of Danny. "Ok, it's kinda what it looks like. But-" "Don't give me any excuses Dash. There shouldn't be any good reason to beat anyone up." You yell even louder at him, making it clear that you were completely pissed off at him. "Come on babe, let's just go to practice and forget this whole thing never happened." He said while leading you to the football field. "How could I forget that you injured my best friend?" You say while pulling away from him. "Oh come on (Name), why are you even friends with Fenten anyway? He's a nobody." "Ok, stop right there Dash. 1. He's been my friend way before I even knew you existed. 2. I was a nobody too before I started dating you. And 3. We're through." His eyes went wide when you said that last part. "(Name) please no. Don't do this, I'll miss you, I love you." You took off his leather jacket and threw it at him. "Too bad, because I don't love you." Dash looked at you with sad eyes and ran away before anyone saw him crying. After he left, you turned around and took one of Danny's arms and put it around your shoulder. "W-why did you do that?" You look at him with seriousness mixed with concern swirling in your (e/c) eyes. "Because Danny, you're my best friend and I could never be with someone who would even think about hurting my friends." He smiled at you with gratefulness in his eyes. "Thank you (Name)." "You're welcome Danny. Now lets get you home before you pass out." You started helping him walk through the halls and to the front of the school. "Danny, always remember that I will always be there for you when you need me most." "I know, and I will always be there for you when you need me most." You smiled down at him and he smiled back up at you. "I know Danny. I know."

Just as your flashback ended, you ran into a tree. "Shit, why did I have to run into a tree?" "Maybe it was because you weren't paying attention." You jumped when you heard a familiar voice answer your question. You turned your attention towards the source of the voice (which was upwards) to find Danny floating above your head. "Well, you have a point there Danny." "I thought so. So, why did you run into a tree?" Danny asked you as he came down to the ground. "I was just remembering the day I broke up with Dash." Once you said that, Danny's expression changed from a happy look to a concerned one. "Are you really that upset about your break-up with Dash?" Your eyes went wide, how could he think that? "N-no it just reminded me how much of a jerk Dash is. It also reminded me of how close we've gotten." It was true, after that day, you and Danny have gotten closer. You guys would do everything together. To the movies, to the Nasty Burger, you name it. Some times, he would even invite you to go on some ghost hunts with Tucker, Sam, and him. He smiled at you, also remembering how close you two have gotten. "Yeah, sorry. I just always think that you and Dash broke up because of me." He looked away from you. "Danny, look at me." You took his hand as he turned to look at you. His ghostly green eyes were filled with sadness as he looked into your (e/c) orbs. "It wasn't your fault that Dash and I broke up. If Dash really loved me, he would've respected my choice of friends and left you alone. But he didn't, and that shows me that he doesn't love me and I shouldn't be with him." He looked at you as if he didn't believe you. To prove your point, you brought him into a comforting embrace. "Danny, please believe me when I say it wasn't your fault. Because it wasn't." He hesitated for a moment before returning your embrace. "I believe you (Name). Thank you." You smiled as he thanked you. You two stayed like that for a while. You took this opportunity to take in his unique scent. It was so intoxicating, you couldn't describe it. 'Damn it Danny, why do you make me feel this way?' You've been crushing on Danny for a while now. You just couldn't help it, his smile; the way he walks; and how sometimes, when you're upset, he would come and cheer you up. You really did love him, but you could never tell him that because you thought that he would never feel the same way about you. After a while, you two let go of each other. "Danny?" "Yeah?" He looked at you with shinning eyes, making you blush slightly. "Can you carry me back to your house so we can get on with our study date?" He groaned when you mentioned the study date. "Do we really have to do the study date?" You laughed and punched him on the arm lightly. "If you wanna pass biology, yeah." He sighed and picked you bridal style and started flying off towards his house. But, completely unknown too you or Danny, one of Danny's former foes, The Skulker, had been watching both of you from a distance. "It seems that this girl is of great importance to the ghost boy known as "Danny Phantom". I must capture her and use her as bait to capture my true prize." He smiled wickedly and started to follow both of you back to Danny's house.
~~~~~~~~~At Danny's House~~~~~~~~~
"Ok, so animal cells have a cell membrane to protect all the working systems inside the cell, including the nucleus. Plant cells also have a cell membrane, but they also have cell walls to protect the cell membrane. Now the proteins that make up the cell membrane are.......DANNY!!" You yell as you noticed that Danny had fallen asleep while you were talking. He jumped up once you yelled his name. "I wasn't sleeping I was.....resting my eyes. Yeah, that's what I was doing." You sighed and closed your textbook. "Yeah, then how do you explain your mouth hanging wide open, drool running down from your mouth, and the snoring?" He raised his hands up in defense. "Hey, sorry but this is the most boring subject ever." "I thought you said literature was the most boring subject ever?" You said as you cocked your brow at him. "That's completely irrelevant to this conversation." After he said that, his ghost sensors went off. "(Name) I'm sorry but, I kinda have ta'-" "Just go ghost already. But you have ta' be back before I have ta' go home." He smiled at you before he turned into "Danny Phantom". After he did he was about to leave. But before he left, he went up to you and kissed you on the cheek. "Thank you (Name). For everything." With that said, he left. Leaving you sitting there in shock. 'He. Kissed. Me. He really kissed me.' A light pink blush came too your cheeks as you reached up to touch the spot were he kissed you. You smiled softly. 'He's......never done that before. Maybe he actually-' Your thoughts were interrupted when you felt something come in contact with you wrist. You looked and saw that there was a dart sticking out of your wrist. "What is this?" You ask as you slowly pull the dart out of your wrist. "It's a tranquilizer dart." You turned around too see Skulker standing right behind you. "Sk-skul-ker" you managed to say before you passed out. The last thing you saw was Skulker staring down at you.

You wake up with cuts and bruises all over your body and you had a mind-splitting headache. "Where am I?" You ask while rubbing your head in pain. You try too stand up but you find that you can't. You look down to find that there was a huge chain around your waist. "Well, well, look who's finally awake." You look up to see Skulker standing right in front of you with a triumphant smile on his face. "What do you want with me Skulker?" "Oh, I'm so glad you asked. I brought you to the ghost zone so I could use you as bait to lure the ghost boy here so I can capture him." You shuddered at the thought of Danny being trapped in a cage. "Your plan's not gonna work. Your plans never work. Danny is gonna come rescue me and defeat you." He smirked at you as he got down on one knee and looked you in the eye. "I highly doubt that I will fail this time."
~~~~~~~~~Danny's P.O.V~~~~~~~~~
"(Name) I'm back, turns out it was just that stupid box ghost." I came through the window too find that (Name) wasn't in my room anymore. "(Name), you here?" I yelled out but she didn't answer. I looked at my clock too see it was only 1:15. 'That's odd, (Name) doesn't need to be home until 6 o'clock.' I look around my room until my eyes come across something on the floor. As I look closer, it turns out too be a small box. "What the heck is this thing?" I pick up the box and look at it. Suddenly, a little light comes out of the boxes and shows me an image of The Skulker. "Skulker" "Greetings ghost boy. If you're watching this, you have come to realize that your friend is no where to be found. But don't worry, I have her right here." After he said this, he showed me (Name). She had cuts and bruises all over her body, and she was bleeding really badly. "(Name)!!" "If you want to see your friend again, you will come into the ghost zone and face me like a man." Once he said this, the video shut off. I stood there for a few minutes, paralyzed in anger. I threw the box out the window and flew as fast as I could to the ghost portal in the basement. "Skulker, your ass is grass and I'm the lawnmower." I say as I enter the portal.

"Ow" You managed to say as you lay there helplessly. You were covered in even more cuts and bruises, and you were losing a lot of blood, and fast. So everything started getting fuzzy. "Aw, don't worry girl." He pulled you up by your hair as he spoke to you. "I'll let you go back to your own world as soon as I'm done with you." He let go of your hair and let you drop to the ground with a big 'thud'. "Skulker, that's no way to treat a girl. Especially to a girl in that condition." You and Skulker look up to see Danny floating a few feet above you. "Danny!" "So ghost boy, we meet again." Danny landed on the ground right in front of Skulker. "Yeah, but last time you chained me to a ghost hunter." "Yes and you got away last time. But I'm not letting that happen again." Skulker took out a plasma blaster and shot Danny, and that started the battle. You couldn't really see the battle because everything was fuzzy because of all the blood loss. But the fight ended when Danny locked Skulker into another dimension in the ghost zone. "Don't worry (Name), I gotcha'." Danny said as he picked you up and started flying back to the ghost portal. "Danny." "Sh, just rest for now (Name). We'll be outta' here before you know it." You looked up at Danny with a sleepy smile and soon you fell asleep.

You wake-up to a beeping sound and a brightly lit room. "Where am I?" You sat up and tried to get a better view of your surroundings. It looked like you were in a hospital room. "How did I get here?" You looked around the room some more and you saw that there was a little table next to your bed, and it was pilled high with "Get well soon" baskets. "Who are all these baskets from?" "They're from everyone at school." You jumped when you heard someone answer your question. You turn your head over towards the window and saw Danny standing next to it. "Morning sunshine." He said as he came and sat next to you. "Danny!!" You gave him a great big hug, nearly crushing him in the process. "Hey, I haven't seen you awake for 3 days. Shouldn't I be the one giving you a bone crushing hug?" you let go of him and stare at hi with wide eyes. "I'VE BEEN OUT FOR 3 DAYS!!" "No, you've been out for a couple of hours. I brought you here at like 3 in the morning and you just woke up at 12." You punched him in the arm. But after you did, you clenched it in pain. Confused, you looked down at your left arm to find it in a cast. "Why is my arm in a cast?" He laughed at your question. "The doctor said that you sprained your left arm and your right ankle. So, you're gonna have ta' stay in these casts for a while." You looked down at you right leg to find that it was in a cast as well. "Well, guess I'm gonna have ta' be on crouches for a while." Danny only looked at you with sad eyes. "What's wrong Danny?" "It's my fault." "What are you talking about?" "If I didn't leave you, Skulker wouldn't have been able to capture you and this wouldn't have happened." You looked at him with concern. You brought your hand up to his cheek and stroked it tenderly. "Danny, it's not your fault. Even though I got captured and injured, something good came out of it." He looked at you with disbelief and confusion. "What's the good thing that came out of it?" "You were able to keep your promise to me. The promise where you said that you would always be there for me when I need you the most. And you were there for me when I needed you. So, thank you, for everything." He smiled once you thanked him. "That's how I always thank you." "I know, and it was high time I thank you for everything you've done for me." Without warning, you leaned in and kissed him. He didn't even hesitate for a minute before kissing you back. He wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you closer too his body while you rest your hands on his shoulders. You wished you could just keep kissing him like that forever. But the need for air was becoming far to great. You were the first one to pull away, but Danny didn't like that idea. He pulled you back in for another kiss which you weren't prepared for. He took this opportunity to dip his tongue into your wet cavern. He explored every inch of your mouth. It wasn't until about a few minutes later when he finally released you, both of you panting. "I've always wanted to do that." He whispered in your ear, causing you to shiver. "I love you Danny." "I love you too (Name)." You sit comfortably in Danny's arms, wanting to stay like that forever. But sadly, you two were interrupted. "Well, looks like (Name) is feeling better." You and Danny jump and turn your attention to the door. Standing in the doorway was Jazz, Tucker, and Sam. "Come on Tucker, let's go get some food from the down stairs cafeteria." Sam said as she started dragging Tucker out of the doorway. Jazz looked at you and gave you a thumbs up while mouthing the phrase "good luck" and closed the door. "That was kinda awkward." Danny said as he walked towards the door. "Yeah no kidding. Hey Danny, what are you doing?" Your question was answered once you heard Danny lock the door. Then he turned back towards you with a seductive smirk on his face, making you blush madly. "Now where were we?" He said as he made his way back over to you.
