Old Reference: Simon Hamada concept

The Backstory:
Simon Hamada was born and grew up in New York. He's a child of a metis lawyer and a Chinese woman running small, cosy cafeteria. He always was silent and content kid but it never meant that he was an introvert. He always hung out with kids who had similar priorities to his. He was a type who never liked agglomeration's traffic and dreamed of living in much more silent place. He always got good grades at school and teachers noticed a lot of potential in him. They thought that his patience, perception and logic way of thinking would be useful in criminology. Later on he started seriously considering this path. At fist, he tried studying law in High School for Law and Public Service in New York. He started enjying this field so he continued his further education in St. John's College Liberal Arts and Sciences. It made his father extremely proud since he was a lawyer. However, this pride didn't last long. When Simon graduated, he sent his CV to Maine in order to apply for a job. Having revieved a positive feedback, he decided to live in Maine. His father wasn't pleased to hear that his son chose that particular place. They had very serious argument but, eventually, old Hamada with a heavy heart let Simon work there. Despite being so attached to his family (here I mean parents + teenage sister Mei) Simon was happy to get some independence. When he got to Maine, he realised that he wasn't prepared for totally new environment. The local people were much more different than New Yokers and there were more trees than buildings. He had preliminary meeting with Sinead Downson which wasn't organised the way he expected. They met each other in the pub to discuss the conditions. Since then, they've been working together.

Personality:
Simon is calm and serious person. Generally, his personality is close to his mother's who is also very content person (on the other hand, his sister is as pugnacious as their father). And that's why he is really attached to her. Simon always tries dissolve issues in calm, peaceful way but sometimes he happens to snap. He works carefully because careful and exact work allows him resolve cases easily. He's loyal and he would never leave his colleagues in need even if the conditons and circumstances make it harder.

Mental disorders?
Doesn't have any. However, he has had a big trauma since he got lost in a huge crowd as a kid. He was taking a walk with his family when they suddenly found themselves in the crowd of people. His hand slipped from his mother's and he got lost for about 5 minutes before he was found. Since then, he's been avoiding overcrowded places. That event is the reason why he moved to Maine.

Any romantic relationships?
He's not a romantic type, however, I can tell you one funny fact. *looks around* Sometimes he happens to get into really strange and awkward situations with guys X'D

Physical details:
Body shape- Simon is really thin but his body is pretty agile and flexible.
Look- He's like 85% Asian so it's obvious that his complexion comes from the East (slanted eyes, dark eyes, black hair). His hair usually is pulled back, he uses gel to keep it still. Honestly, I must admit that he's the prettiest male OC I've ever created X'D
Scars- after small injuries during his work. Mostly elbows and knees.

Abilities:
He's very skilled at shooting and at matrial arts. His patience allows him to make exact and successful analysis. Also, he is good at predicting events which can happen in near future (it is based on his quick reflex and situation analysis).

Likes:
- Jogging
- His close friends
- Woods
- Food his mum makes
- Cold weather

Dislikes:
- Extremely hot weathers
- Noise of traffic
- Big cities in general
- Annoying coworkers (and they like it XD)
