I loved the movie, it was kinda slow but calm, filled with a beautiful atmosphere it shows that it doesnt matter which part of the world, family or place of the system (in this case, royalty) you are, only one can make life meaningful to himself. You see Boax's thoughts stuck in the past and his living body rotting in that old castle with that magic diamond keeping him alive waiting for his sorcerer raze to appear miraculously without knowing he can make his own life.
It reminds me of the last line at the end of The Book of Life from the Candlemaker character: "Hey, write your own story"
