Well, this isn’t something I can do on FF, is it?

While talking with recently, the issue of my story’s geographical layout was brought up, and it occurred to me that I hadn’t even created a personal use map of the world I’d been creating. I decided to fix that.

Admittedly, the Monster Hunter world does have a world map of sorts ([link] ) but it doesn’t include the locations of Tri or beyond. And since my story doesn’t really fit with the geography of the provided map, I just decided to create my own. We’ll just say that Loc Lac is located on a continent to the east of the one with Minegarde on it.

I did not create all of this myself. Rather, I found a website ([link] ) that allowed me to create randomly-generated landmasses, and did so until I made one I could work with. Of course, you can tell from the image that I did some rather noob-ish work to make the image more accurate to the story, but I’m a writer, not an artist.

Anyway, except for the ??? locations (which are spoilers), this map contains all of the locations used in the story so far. It's incomplete, and pretty sketchy, but should give a rough layout of the world I've created in my head. There's also a lot of empty space, I'll admit, but... well, that's something else that may be worked with in the future.

You just blew my thoughts out of the water. *scraps map* Excellent!

Is an inch something like a hundred miles, or would that be an inch for ten miles? At any rate, could you link me to the program you used?

I don't exactly have a scale in mind when making this, but 1 inch being a hundred miles seems the most accurate of the two.

As for the program, I used the website in the description to make a randomly generated world (though I just made it so the world was a single continent), then saved the image, opened it up in MS Paint, then made the adjustments I wanted to make. I'm sure I could've done better if I'd used a program besides Paint, but that's all I had at the moment.

Yeah, I saw that after I posted.
