A visual update of the Isalyst and Ranjalyst Sentient combo.So this big four legged guy is the Isalyst, named after someone who likes to blow stuff up. It's a slow moving quadrupedal Sentient machine that comes with a really powerful antimatter mortar on its top. But it requires the aid of a Ranjalyst (the little guy) to target enemies. Without a Ranjalyst, the Isalyst cannot aim properly. Isalysts can produce new Ranjalysts if one gets destroyed

Doesn't look very Sentient. More like Corpus trying to imitate their design.

Yeah. Sentients tend to have a organic and gaunt/skeletal look. Jado has the organic part down pat for both Sentient fragments, but only the Ranjalyst fully matches the Sentient aesthetic. The Isalyst is too bulky, for lack of a better word. Sentient fragments tend to rather skeletal in appearance, as we see with the Eidolons and Hunhow and his fragments. The Isalyst has too much bulk on its body, and its main body is not really slender enough to look Sentient.

Yeah I'll admit I really struggled on this design. At least it still looks better than the old version, right?
I'll probably revisit this guy once again in the future, maybe shave off some more bits. It's difficult to try and nail down a bulky, tank-like Sentient properly, at least for me.
