One of, or rather, three of the commissions I sold at G-Fest - Toho's Frankenstein, Sanda, and Gaira! And yes, I once again take liberties in redesigns.Gah, I need to see these movies. T_T

Amazing tribute, I find both "Frankenstein Conquers the World" and "War of the Gargantuas" some of Tohos best films, and an interesting take on the Frankenstein myth.

I've always wondered about that sequel bit. Even in the Japanese version of War of the Gargantuans, there was that flashback where Sanda was a little hairy sasquatch. So we're to assume Frankenstein recloned as a boy and grew up again, as well as getting hairy? I hope to see the Japanese version of Half-Human, the tale of a Japanese sasquatch and his family, and see if it's possible the sasquatch's son could survive instead of being killed, making that one being cared for in the institute in WOTG. It got big from accidently eating some of Frankenstrin's cells. That would seem to make more sense than Gaira being a second clone of Frankenstein.

They are fantastic movies. Well...War for the Gargantuas was really good. I feel that it doesn't get enough press. The Suit Acting in that movie was really good

You've gotten much better in your drawings and redesigns. I'm Gaira the most to be honest, there's just something about him that says "I'm badass beyond all reason and if you don't like it, I'll fuck you up!" lol.
Sanda and Frank are nicely done as well, very nicely done. Which is nothing surprising since your extremely good at drawing. Keep up the good work!

Ha! I just watched War of the Gargantua's last night on TV! That movie takes me back, a ton of great scenes in it.

Frankenstein was in FRANKENSTEIN CONQUERS THE WORLD/FRANKENSTEIN VS. BARAGON, and Sanda and Gaira were in WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS. Also note that WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS is a sequel to FRANKENSTEIN VS. BARAGON, hence why I named this upload "Legacy".

I never seen those movies before. ive heard about them but never seen them. the one VS. Baragon sounds really interesting. i also didnt know that WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS was a sequel to that movie. now i see why you called it "Legacy". anyway really awesome job Ray
