I do like how the design here reflects Zambolar's character, in that he's angered about ravenous deforestation going on around his habitat. His skin color kinda has an earthly feel to it, and the scutes on his back kinda have a leafy look to them, the colors looking as if they're set ablaze.Plus, he's one of the only kaiju that Ultraman does confront, but never fights - he simply makes a calming gesture to him, and Zambolar, feeling that he's made his point, turns away and goes home.

it looks kinda like a mashup of Godzilla, Anguirus, and Barugon into one monsterΒ

This is one monster that, personally, should show up more often. It's perfect as an Earth monster, the powers are interesting, and it's a perfect Anguirus-like monster as an ally to a Gomora. However, I think that sparing him in Ultraman Powered was better than him dying in the original, as I can see what Ultraman Powered doing more of what an Ultra would do rather than Ultraman, who straight up murders a monster who only did harm when angered.
