Description
I’ve had a sudden boost in interest for Ultraman recently, and I decided to dig out some markers and sketch/color what’s come to be one of my favorite (not to mention one of the more popular) Ultra-kaiju, the mighty Red King!
And I personally feel the scan doesn’t exactly do it justice. Looks much better in person.Red King (C) Tsuburaya

Bic, mostly. I do use Prismacolor or Copics for grays (or a combination of the two), and Sharpies for black (if a Bic isn't handy).

Red King was always one of the cooler monsters, so it was a touch underwhelming to learn (back when I was much younger) that he didn't have any signature powers. Had the me of then discovered the Red King of now, I'd probably crap bricks of the awesomeness factor. Even so, I've learned to respect Red King on all levels, powers or no powers, because he's just a cool character.
