I did some more experimentation with cell shading in this. I was kind of lazy when it came to the daffodil; instead of finding myself a new reference, I used the daffodil from the old drawing as reference (which in hindsight I probably shouldn't have done). Overall, I am much happier with this than my last attempt at drawing myself a profile picture (looking back on it, Mara's face in that drawing still looks awful).
