When you think about it, the tree has lost an important part of itself. The shelter that once kept it warm, that one that danced with the wind, and the one that would be there when it woke up… just gone. Of course these same factors could reflect to a person.
A person keeps their partner safe, makes them smile, and can ensure them that they will always be there for them. However, when a person is gone, they never come back. They don’t grow back, they can’t be replaced. Strange.
Both leaves and a human being end up going in the ground when their time on the earth has ended.
