Weird crack pairing that just popped in my head, Mapleshade and Redtail. How this came up was that I was making some rant where Mapleshade confronted Redtail on his minor-characterness and Redtail insulted her back. Thus this pairing was born!Call it whatevershipping that seemed to fit these two, I don't care what ideas you have in mind. Just enjoy the oddness of a Maple/Red ship.

Wow, I just had a neat idea that popped up in my head!
To start, Mapleshade had a vendetta against Crookedstar and ThunderClan to some extent. Maybe she overseed Oakheart's death when at the battle of sunningrocks and then witnessed Redtail's death at Tigerclaw's paw. Happy to see ThunderClan loose its deputy and have a killer in their ranks, she corraled Redtail in the Dark Forest so that he doesn't help warn his Clanmates about it (hence why Redtail never helps Fireheart out or even warns Bluestar.) He remains there up until Silverstream dies and Mapleshade leaves to gloat to Crookedstar. Then he escapes the Dark Forest to StarClan as Tigerstar's treachury unfolds.
