Ha nacido Perla, la potrilla de Spirit y Lluvia!
no es oficial, es decir que es un personaje que he decidido crear para fantasear un poco continuando la historia
ya se que no es un diseΓ±o muy original, solo es otra yegua pinta y he usado para ella los mismos colores que los de su madre, pero que os puedo decir? se me metio ese diseΓ±o en la cabeza y no me convencia ningun otro
mas adelante subire mas dibujos de la joven Perla, espero que os guste^^

This is amazingly done, and very adorable. I love the expressions.
Like the way the foal seems to still be getting use to the air, and how Rain looks so happy to see her little foal~
However, there are a few things I would like to point out there. ^^
When horses are first born, the mother, right away, stands up and awaits the foal to stand up with her so the foal can get his/her first nursing of milk/ In this picture, the two are functioning more like the way a mother and newborn pup would: the puppy being born and staying at the mother's side as she rests. This is because the mother's nipples are on her stomach, so all she needs to do is roll over for feeding. While with a horse; they have utters like cattle between their legs, which get bigger after pregnancy, so they have to stand up after birth to feed the foal (or calf in a cow's case.)
Another thing that I noticed is that rain's back side and lower part of her both is non-existent. I can see that there is the beginning of her knee there, but that would not only make her body way to short for a horse, but nothing behind that knee is existent in the picture. Forgive me if there's a good reason for this?
I also noticed that the newborn foal lacks wetness, and when horses are first born, they are completely soaked with the mother's internal fluid. So a bit more shine on the foal like they did in the Spirit movie when HE was born would have given the audience a better chance of figuring out that this foal is a newborn.
Other than those flaws, the shading and expressions and most of the rest of the anatomy are very nicely done, and I can definitely see some effort in this! Keep it up. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="
