There was a program to render out models/animations as vector. But I can't remember the name of it lol I think there were two but one of them did a better job than the other,. I think one was called Swift 3d. The other was...

You won't do anything until you can draw characters? Doing it one step at a time eh?
You sorta sound like me trying to do so much.
Keep on trying Your work is real good!

Cheers! I am too much of a perfectionist to make a game without feeling I am up to par on all aspects of creation. I think characters and people drawing skills will help me in loads of ways, not just games so it's something well worth doing. That and I rarely have people in my artwork which has to change. I've heard of swift 3d, seen a friend of mine use it too and I still felt there was something very 3d looking about it, guess nothing beats genuine 2d. I must pick up some books on anatomy and stuff, will help me a lot. Thanks for the encouragement, I certainly do try a million things at once. I can think of several things I have in WIP state, and several things I want to do! I'll never get anything finished unless I start focusing on one thing at a time and finishing them up.

Yep, a bit of 3d modelling for the robot, the projector is from flash. I was hoping to figure out a way to render 3d to look like vector becuase I was doing the backgrounds in flash. I may do a complete overhaul of all graphics though if I do go ahead and make the game. I need to practice drawing people though big time. I won't be doing anything until I can draw characters. Technically the robot is from the future so having him 3d and the rest 2d makes sense slightly. I used the concept as an assignement for college and there had to be some 3d things, I went for making characters 3d. As for making it, just used 3ds Max and your standard modelling techniques, nothing special about it. I have a lot of games I want to make but keep holding off becuase I can't bring the characters to life, until I master that I wont be making any games. Must get practicing, it's one of those things I keep saying I will do in a minute, then in another minute etc. Constantly holding it off, I need to get to work on it NOW!!.. well maybe later...
I will do soon, just a bit daunting to know where to start.
