Totally agree, it's not really engaging at first... but if you give it a chance, it's really cool.

Well, it's a game in which you play a sort of spy who works for a secret governement agency called Alpha Protocol who deals with terrorists and you basically dig dirt on a defense contractor. As the game progresses, you make decisions which change the story and how other characters interact with you, and even who you get to meet.
I, for instance, never even met SIE in my first playthrough.

It's no technical masterpiece (doesn't look anywhere near as good as ME for example), but it does have its charm, and once you get into it, it's great. I hope they make a sequel someday...
