I've always been under the impression that art is unmoving. It holds no profound quality for me, holds no special qualities. I've often wondered why I am here, and active member of deviantart, if I don't like art. To me, motion is music. Music is magic. Stills don't have any place for me.
But this...This captures the essence of what art should mean to me. I searched 'Move me' in deviantart, a challenge to myself to find a piece that truly meant something to me.

Really awesome composition and great use of all corners of the frame. The black and white tones really make the photo and add to the 'drama.' I also like that in-the-moment capture, with freezing motion.

great shot, kaum etwas hinzuzufuegen, aber abgesehen davon, dass Licht-Schatten und Movement wunderbar "gecaptured" sind, was hier schon zu genuege gesagt wurde, finde ich auch den Style sehr cool!!

wow, great photo. it looks like the start of a breakdance movement.
the composition is very good. i like how you stand in front of the light streak on the wall and how the lines on the floor, starting from the bottom right corner, lead into the room and to the subject.
the flying tie supports the impression of movement.
though maybe your face should be directed a little more to the camera to bring it a little more into the light, or maybe you could burn it a little bit to make it look brighter.
i really enjoy the whole concept of this photograph.
