Well, the "R" stands for "Ranger". I started all my symbols in a yellow colour, to match Decade cards at the time when I started doing this. I wanted to do the Sentai symbols in both ways, so there'd be a complete collection of yellow Tokusatsu symbols, as well as versions that are coloured the same as in the show (Hence, "Ranger"). The "A" versions are "Alpha" versions, to relate them to my colour styles. Hope this helps!
