Oliver Cromwell is one of the small number of locomotive in presevertion from the fifteen Guinea Special. Oliver Cromwell is owned by the national railway museum that runs on the mainline or GCR but the national railway museum doesn't help the funding for the overhaul the locomotive every little bit of money help to keep her running or she could be like A4 mallard stuffed in the museum.Related content

She definitely deserves that

The only thing is she is owned by the NRM and that is not good the NRM doesn't help out with funding for THE FAMOUS LOCOMOTIVE in the world (yes more famous than Scotsman, Mallard and Tornado). So GCR need to raise money to overhual her and she only gets 8 main line trips a year.

She is only have her ashpan done unless they find anything else wrong should only be out of service for 1year to 18 months
