Anyway, backstory time!

A new chef has joined the staff at the Higoto Café!
He's a bit of a flirt, a bit of a drunk, and not the least bit human, he's Ryuhei the Tanuki!! *fanfare*

Ryuhei ( Disguise Age: 24, Real Age: 240 ) was an ordinary tanuki (Japanese Raccoon Dog ) content with slumming around the Tokyo suburbs, until he noticed the unusual rise in supernatural activity around the area. ( Due to Kiko being the Moon Stone, obviously. ) Being of the curious sort, he decided to investigate and soon tracked down the source of the problem.

But then didn't know what to do about it.

So, he contented himself with flirting with Kiko and holding down a steady job.
Then he found she had a werewolf bodyguard, and, true to his nature, freaked out.

~Ryuhei ("Ryu" for short) describes himself as gentle, which means he is a coward.

~He doesn't wish any harm on Kiko, and despite the fact he hits on her, he sees her as a little sister.

~At first he is afraid of Kyon (Understandably), but eventually he gets used to him and even teases him.

~Despite he ways he acts, Ryu is actually quite wise at times, and I reckon he would be a good character to give advice and moral support.

~He is an expert shape shifter and doesn't often show his true form, but when he does, it is usually to sneak into or out of somewhere.

~He is good at cooking.
