That's really cool. How did you start this out? Take her out, solarize the kitchen, and then redraw her?

i cut her out, lots of layers upon layers for each degree of shading, clothing, hair, eyes, etc etc. i used the cutout filter on the kitchen and tweaked it till it had this pastel like look too it.

aw man, there should be more comments on this! i hate to talent get slept on! this is really cool bro. my only suggestion is perhaps a couple of refinded areas on the anime girl. hands... and maybe her eyes.. the idea is there, and the excecution was great....

No idea how to create this stuff,but I can imagine it takes some time and effort as you say.
