For those of u who is wondering what is the 'APU' i working on, here is a sneak peek at the line art version. APU stand for 'Armored Personal Unit' thats what they call it from 'matrix revolution'. i seems to be so hook up by it's design and it would be nice if alphaleo can take a spin on it.Took me more than a month to do this and now i'm starting the coloring process which will take me another one more month or mybe more. i still need to do a lot off digital touch up before i can really color it and still a lot off unfinished parts like the gun fire, adminition shells dropping, smokes, BG, and much more. looks like it will take me another more month for the final.

wo wo, cool down dude. The APU is so damn detail, i really do need refrences, 'a lot of them', ranging form the DVD, websites, the action figure. Even with them i still find it hard to catch up with it's design, oh man, it's too damn detail. i made so many mistakes, now i'm doing digital armentment in photoshop to get things in order. so please be patient for the colored version.

i would like to understand how you stuff so much detail into these things, cuz when i try they just turn into a massive amount of scribbled lines with a shape hidden in it o_o

....If I'd need a whole month for a single drawing, I think I'd get bored about it and I'd leave the picture unfinished, such a procrastinator I am.... 
...I'm staring at the APU details, and it seems every part of the armour is placed in the right side: I mean, you have not added pieces just to make a detailed picture, but with no sense.... in fact, you could notice what's each machine piece for, since each one of them seems to have a sense and a function in the mechanism..... ^^ That's something making me wonder if you have some engineering knowledges or not, because the design looks really realistic..... :judges: *gives Leo a good score*

let me tell u a secret, i don't even know anything about the car i'm driving, noe my own PC, so much for scenes of engineering, will expect a more simple item like my own moutain bike.

I'm not much into mechs like APU (putting little armor so thar a few shots can disable the mech doesn't make sense to me) but i'd sey it looks more badass there than in the movie itself

Have you seen the Animatrix? If you haven't, check out the Rennaisance pt. 1 and pt. 2. You'll know that because the machines have pretty much overriden the human population, they're left with very few stuff. Before that, they had heavily armored mechs, much stronger than these APUs, but as soon as there came the time the first machine killed humans, all hell broke loose.
Oddly, i still prefer Animatrix over the Matrix trilogy...

hmm actually, if they were able to dig all the way to the earth's core resources shouldn't be that low I guess, and btw... these APUs weren't the first unarmored mechs i've seen in american scifi series and I doubt it will be the last
