"IT FINALLY DONE" after '6 months' or toturing myself on it, i'm pretty happy how the APU turn out but as for the background i'm still working on it hoping i can do a better background than this one, for the moment please enjoy the main APU which i have work so hard on 'Enjoy'Related content

H O L Y CRAP!!! O.O Wow, you really outdid yourself on this one! Do you have any idea how many hours you put into that? It's just amazing! The coloring is perfect! I can picture you in the movie ^_^

i have no idea how many hours i spend, 6 months, 4-5 hour on week days, 8 hours on weekends, plus 3 week missing in action. started on May. oh crap, Maths!

All the effort you put it in seams to have paid off incredibly. more or less everything about this seams spot on, can't really bother to point out any flaws, overall, kick arse job Alphaleo, very impressive! I havent' seen Revolutions yet (have seen Reoladed, I liked it a lot) but maybe I will soon, either way it brings back some Matrix memmories, again, awesome job there.

u should see them, i'm not a fan at all when it comes to matrix, but i'm sure is hooked up when i first saw the APU on reload (very brief), then when i heard the news that the APU is full time on Revolution, i saw it, and the firts thing that strikes me is i'm gonna do fan art and friend laught at me that time and now i have the last laught which after i get the background done.

Having not seen Revolutions, I can't judge this compared to how they looked in the movie, or how the characters used them, etc... but this whole thing is UNBELIEVABLE! I think the detail in the arms and legs aren't necessary, but they do add that additional time spent on just gazing at all the small things, grabbing your attention. Great job!

u should see it, i try to stay as original as they are in form the movie. i know the whole work seems unresonably time consuming but one thing i learn is how to 'endure the impossible' i'm happy how it turn out but i still wanna improve on it even more.

i think its great as it is, the backdrop need not have much more than it already has. I love the graphical approach. You don't want to spend another 6 months, do you
Just loose the type, no one wants to steal it, really 
CON:
Muzzle flare is actually gases that are illuminated from within. Not highly matte gaseous substances that magically appear.
Perhaps too much heatsmoke on the shells, given the lighting conditions. (you paid so much attention to it on the apu, might as well do it all the way thru!)

Maybe its just me, but i think it can also benefit from more cinematic or 'edgy' lighting direction, to better control the composition. We all know how much you want to show off the effort, so perhaps its something you can work in in a future version

- How to color realistic metallic surfaces, and shade-light them, in a good way
- How to make a "gun shooting" effect with lighs and smudge tool, looking even more than real fireguns...
- How to make letters look like Matrix ones, with the green traces in vertical
- How to be patient enough working in a picture you really like (because I'm a lazy butt, easily getting tired)

it is damn time consuming, and a very stressfull one as well. but crossing the finished line thats makes it more memoreble and i'm still pushing hard for the final background.

Alphaleo, you've done one of the most incredible pieces of work I've seen.... This is a true display of devotion to your character. The progress of the work has been extremely commendable, you seem to be able to put your dreams to imagery very well.
The sheer detail of the mechanic APU body combined with the emotional facial expression of your character make an even romantic interpretation of the scene of the film.
I await the completed work with great anticipation! Please, love the background as you have loved your efforts so far!
