few days ago i rewatch back the Matrix movies again, kinda brings me back to 2004 when i first saw the APU in action, i was so into the APU mech to the point i painted an APU fanart which took me a year to complete. and it was a proud achievement for myself, i have also found a new painting style as a result of this master piece. so here is a close up shot of the main APU that alphaleo pilots. finished version [link]not really a fan or matrix but a fan of APU
it's been 6 year ago i painted this using a cheap genius tablet(i don't even know wacom exist at that time)

I remember when this painting first came out, I think i still have it in my favorites. It was an excellent piece of work, and this brings good memories of that artwork and the movies.

The details are astounding. It might be that the texture is too consistent on the APU, but it's either that or the lighting that makes it look less dynamic. I would also like to tell that there are mechanics in the foreground, middle ground and background, so selective tone changes might help.
I'm still a student and not professional, so if you don't agree that's totally cool with me! haha. xD;

i just got episode 1 downloaded, i saw it on youtube first
yeah, the 00 ending is pretty good but i still don't get the point why the director wanted both ribbons and setuna to downgrade themselves to the their old gundam, know for sure 0 gundam limited weapons are no match for exia, they could have fight longer on the last fight
