Taka knew what he did was wrong, he couldn’t hide that. He looked up a very angry Ahadi who refused to maintain eye contact with his son.
“Dad, I-“ Taka started.
“You deliberately disobeyed me. Again.” Ahadi interrupted his son, his tone very stern.
“I was just curious about what was so bad about-“
“Don’t talk to me.” Ahadi growled, his hackles rising with hate. Taka, not used to spending time with Ahadi unless he was punished, remained quiet and sat closely behind his pissed father.
After a few moments of awkward silence, Ahadi stood up, which startled poor, young Taka.
“Why did I ever ask for another cub?” Ahadi growled, looking away again from his cub, who was clearly in need of a hug.
“Dad, I’m so sorry-“ Taka started again.
“I said, DON’T TALK TO ME!” Ahadi lashed out and slashed his son right across his left eye. “What a disappointment.”
Taka immediately closed his eye, watering with blood. Kosa, who was nearby, had heard her little brother scream, rushed over immediately to see a fresh bleeding wound on Taka’s little face. She immediately started growling and said, “you did it again, huh, father?” Uru and Mufasa were out of Pride Rock, looking for everyone else in their family. Noticing two very angry lions ahead, Mufasa rushed up to them, Uru quickly following them. They both discovered Taka crying blood out of his left eye and Uru sat right beside him, licking his cheek to comfort him. Mufasa hugged his little brother, trying to figure out what exactly happened. Kosa was pissed that her father was giving scars to his child again, just as he did to her when she was younger. She leap up, claws unsheathing as she prepared to sacrifice her life for the rest of her family.
