Hmmmm very nice, I find it that whenever I try to draw the female form I need a reference cause woman have very distinct and sexy curves to there body. Did you have to use a reference too? I do like what you have so far, will you be adding to it?

no I won't be adding to it. I find that the mystery of only sculpting this section of the body on this piece make it very beautiful and alluring. and no i did not use a reference. People are kind of my main subject matter to do art of, so I tend not to need a reference. It's all in the learning experience of it I suppose. Though I will use a reference if the subject of person is that such as a portrait of someone I know etc. But when doing art off of the top of my head, I don't usually need one.

Thats good, ifind it that when i start to sketch ineed to be out and about to get some ideas or some insinspiration. I always wish I could just draw from my head. You got a gift.

thank you. i rarely even sketch out my ideas, at least not in a ton of detail because to me it's like cheating. and if i am mapping out the whole thing i think it takes away my edge as an artist. because it's like using autopilot on a plane verses actually paying attention. and so basically for me I can't stand to use much face or body mapping because i feel like it's removing my ability to trust my gut and my own talent as an artist. and if i screw up. i screw up. and then i start again. i often only use pen because i like the feel of it, and it shows that i am confident in my skills, also it fits my style. the way my style of drawing is, is so detailed and 'hatching' like that it makes sense to use pen, because graphite does not get the detail or effect that best suits my style and does not often get the effect i desire.
So thank you. It has taken dedication, passion, and love of what i do, to get to where i am now. and i do not plan to stop bettering myself and my art until i die. not even age will stop me. i will always fine SOME FORM of art to do. I wont let my passion be stopped

Thats good, i have that same desire but life has tied my hands. I have a accident years back that broke my right in four different spots and so art has been a problem since then.. SO I had to change my major to business management instead of art. I wish I could go back and not have drove that day so I can be fully committed to art. I happy to hear that you have that same passion i use to have, maybe I will show you some of sketches and drawings.

It is unfortunate about your right (hand? arm?) Though I do think there is always a choice in those situations. There are people who loose arms or sight etc, and if art is their passion and calling they STILL find ways to do art, even if not in the same way from before things changed. So in my opinion even if I were to lose something like my arms or sight or sense of touch or control of my limbs, I would still find SOME form of art to express myself. in that way I guess I'm different. I have many passions and talents, but art is one I would never give up on. Like even if I couldn't do art. I would choose a line of work centered around it. like working at an art gallery as a greeter, or an art supply store, etc. I would never abandon art. Though I can see how some might find it easier to.

I am trying different arts, that why I asked you about the nude art. I can't give up on drawing or sketching I am just not doing it 24-7 like prior to my accident. But I understand cause if this would bot have happen I would have designing video games for a living instead of being a manager.
