Looking back on this a second time, I still find this to be a particular favorite of mine among your submissions. I'd love to see you try and remake this in your updated style one day; it'd look so nice. ^^
While I agree with UnicornCat that the transition of the lighting is too rough to mimic candlelight, I think the animation makes it look more like the light coming from a fireplace or a torch. So this is still a pretty good first attempt.
I'm no expert in animation, but if you ever wanted to try and remake this piece, my advice (for animating candlelight) would be to incorporate a larger number of frames for a smoother, softer, and slower transition.
