Here is another version of a pic I already drew of Basil of Baker Street. The last one I colored on my computer, but I bought a thing with like 100 markers in it today, so this is my first attempt at coloring with markers. I like these markers because there were so many different shades. I tried to blend it in good, but I don't like that you can still kinda see the streaks the marker made. oh well. It actually turned out better than I thought it would.

Anyway, I tried to add a little shading to him this time. I really like this pose...it sorta reminds me more of the cover of the Sherlock Holmes movie with Robert Downy Jr. I tried to make him look more roguish and laid back. And I was thinking about maybe adding Dawson beside him, but he may look better by himself...I don't know. And of course, I'll go back and add a background, probably something simple though. And I think I got the color of his ears wrong, but it's close enough, I guess.
