-...I know this looks incredibly stupid What I was thinking is Amber is really excited to get to go investigate a case with Basil. He could totally jump up and hoist himself up to the window to get a look at whatever suspicious thing is happening inside, but since she's so excited, he lifts her up on his shoulders like "See anything?" And she's just super derpy looking like "YAAAS SLEUTHING WITH MAH BOYFRIEND"

-Basil in an Arcane AU. I thought about him as a Jayce type character, but he doesn't have Jayce's personality and I think would hate getting involved in the political side of things with the council. He's not exactly a Viktor either, but Viktor is the closest character I could think of that he's remotely similar to. Definitely the type to forego food and sleep and would work constantly to improve lives, council be damned. Dang it, I don't need to be thinking of new AUs but here we are. Either way, he would fit in so well as an inventor in the Piltover Academy

I'm eventually going to rewrite that whole series, but I hope to maybe keep this scene relatively the same.
