And now, for something completely different! Non-Mario art, and not drawing a Yoshi!

I've always been pretty bad at drawing humans. Not just Mario humans, but overall. I've had my fair share of human drawings and OCs, but it ranges from stickmen to nothing impressive at all. However, now in college I've been taking lots of classes like anatomy stuff, and I've been pretty steadily improving! Got a long way to go, but here I can show you how it's going so far. Meet Andromeda Nebularia, my first full fledged human OC!

This was made for my anatomy class final work, which had us design a character from scratch, and make a full ref sheet for them. Andromeda here and the tiny lore that accompanies her bio so far are things I've been planning for a long time, but never felt I had the skills, and thus I paid less focus to it. As it's an anatomy related class, our character had to be pretty anatomically correct, but we could stylize it a little. Thus she might look a tad weird, I got a long way to go here

Regardless, this is a big step for me! As always, Mario and Yoshi art will continue. But expect to see some original content too! I know that's not what most of you may be here for, but I also want to try finally putting my own non-mario stuff into paper. More info on her will come soon, as I'm looking to update the design some more and complete her story. For now, thanks for reading and hope you all like this OC, there's definitely more art of her coming eventually!
