Description
YAY!My latest space scene. Quite an improvement since the first space scene i submitted, Red Planet Dawn .
Okay, i thought i would 'Deviate' from the norm, most space artists don't do galaxies, so i thought i would give it a go, so i couldn't be fingered for copying some tutorial or something
so yeah, my photoshop 'skills', were really tested here, loads of different techniques. The planet by the way was just going to go there as a test, but i spent 15 hours on the texture from it, and it looked pretty good, so i left it there
Yeah, have fun, comment please, and

The planet are really good, but it could use some clouds to give it some more depth. But nice job - Keep it up

The reason why most space artists don't do galaxies is because if you can see a galaxy, then you're outside it - that means no stars, no planets etc. Celestial objects are only visible when you are actually inside a galaxy, so your pic is impossible.
HOWEVER
It's very pretty, I love the subtlty in the colours and the lighting - very effective. Nice work

very nice Mr Tim! there is only one thing that i am personally not too keen on and that is that your loverlee galaxy is quite sharp and as a result a bit "noisey" maybe softening it up slightly might make it look more floaty and spacey. other then that teeeny tiny thing its great

lol, yeh that does look better before it made look like it was infront of the planet rather then behind, which i hope is what you wanted (the galaxy behind the planet)
