Just learn how to do some vector shading to make it look sunny. Other than that, this is cute. That's what beaches are for!

There is a shadow tool, I just haven't completely figured out how it works.

nah, it looks nice. add shadows, it will help make it look sunny and which direction the light is coming from.

I have corel Photopaint, but I'm a little better practiced with corel draw

yeah, shadows are pretty with and paint program, just need to practice at it.
