Description This idea was too Bruce to pass up when I had it. (and really, I'm surprised that not a lot of TMNT/RC9GN art exists)

So... how would these two come to trade blows? Well... I had a much longer story in mind... but I lost it due to some errors... so here's a shorter version (Assuming that the Turtles would end up in Norrsiville, somehow)

The Turtles aided the Ninja in destroying a machine that was the end result of a colaberation between McFist and Shredder. As usual, the turtles flee to the sewers to avoid the public eye, while the Ninja did his usual thing of staying behind to bask in the glory... a glory that the reptilian brothers were not allowed to share in.

Later that evening, the turtles meet The Ninja and Howard on the roof of NHS with Pizza and McBubbleBurp to celebrate. While the others reminisce and dig in... Leonardo is uncharacteristically bitter. He just sits there, silently glaring at Randy while he babbles on about his contribution to the battle. Leo's silence is broken when Randy notices.

"Dude, Leo, you alright?" Randy asks with genuine concern, "You look kinda... troubled."

Leo remains silent.

"... Pepperoni for your thoughts?" Michelangelo innocently asks as he offers Leo a slice of Pizza.

...

"You're a pretender, you know that, right?" Leo's burying of the lead shocked all who heard it.

"Uh... say what?" Randy is legitimately confused,
"The point of being a ninja is discipline, stealth, and anonymity," Leo lectures as he stands up to star Randy down, "and yet all I see when you're in battle is a reckless, attention-seeking hooligan in a magic suit that does all of the work for him. My brothers and I have been training since the day be could stand upright to master our bodies and minds, and have been keeping to the shadows ever since; meanwhile, you're anonymously granted those abilities like a birthday card, and stick around to sign autographs."

"Hey!" Randy stands up to defend himself, and meets Leonardo's gaze, "It's not like I asked to be the Ninja, I just accepted it, along with the burden and blame that comes with it! Besides, I have to go through training, too, you know! It's not like the mask automatically makes everyone who wears it 100% Bruce instantly,"

"Who's bruce?" Mickey whispers to Howard, who shushes him immediately.

"Yeah? well, unlike you, I can still be a ninja-warrior even without my mask." Leo gets in Randy's face.

"Yeah? well... unlike you...!" Under better circumstancesm Randy wouldn't go down this road... but... "I can still fit in with the rest of society without my mask!"

Shots fired... swords drawn... it is on...

-meanwhile, at McFist industries.

"Viceroy, Stockman, McFist," The Shredder;s barotone voice echoes through Hannibal's office as the three he addressed cower before him, "You three assured me that the machine would get the Turtles AND the Ninja to destroy each other!!"

"It will! We promise!" McFist grovels, "Viceroy said that the aggression-power that was slipped into it's paint job should've gotten into their systems as soon as their swords pierced the armer!"

"It's true!" Viceroy added, "I bet that right now they are at each other's throats! Please don't make my legs match Hannibal's arm!!"

Man... I went overboard.

Leonardo is more experienced and skilled. He'll probably defeat Randy just tying him up with his own scarf.

But Randy has a lot of things that Leo does not... being a wider weapon variety (bladed, blunt, and explosive) and Magic. Up close and personal, Leo can be a threat with his twin swords, but Swords are kind of useless when a ball of fire that can instantly vaporise a demon comes at him from a distance.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to AlterEgo911 [2016-01-26 06:32:15 +0000 UTC]

True, but Leonardo also has much more experience than Randy, and he often trains with his siblings, so he can counter and fight a variety of weapons too. Also, Randy usually announces his attacks ('Ninja Kick', 'Ninja Sword Strike', 'Ninja Slam'...) so he's pretty much telling Leo what to expect from him, and the turtle will use that info to block or evade the attack.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AlterEgo911 In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2016-01-26 06:47:33 +0000 UTC]

True,

But Leonardo is also too used to fighting alongside his brothers in combat, where Randy knows how to fight solo. On top of that, Randy can figure out how to trump a more experienced opponent with just the simplest of solutions, like how he defeated mac Antfee.

Besides, the calling out might annoy Leo to the point where he slips up.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to AlterEgo911 [2016-01-27 07:38:20 +0000 UTC]

Still, Leo can fight by his own; there are several episodes showing Leonardo besting very powerful opponents without any help, even 'magical warriors' like Randy. Also, Leonardo isn't as prideful or overconfident as Mac Antfee, and he's a much better strategist than Randy.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AlterEgo911 In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2016-01-27 12:47:20 +0000 UTC]

Which can lead to Leo underestimating Randy, thus inviting his own defeat.

Unless Randy makes the mistake of consulting his book at mid-battle, and Leo would just knock him out cold while Randy is... 'in the zone'.Β

AlterEgo911 In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2016-01-28 12:25:05 +0000 UTC]

If Randy did need a mid-battle schloomp, he'd probably keep Leo bust with something, like Sandjas... or the Bee ball.

Also, I am pretty sure Leo won't attack a comatose opponent; any and all sneak attacks in the past were all on conscious opponents.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to AlterEgo911 [2016-01-29 07:10:35 +0000 UTC]

I think Leo would probably stop the battle right there and take Randy to the hospital.

AlterEgo911 In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2016-01-29 12:49:08 +0000 UTC]

Or Randy would wake up before Leo had a chance to do any damage.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to AlterEgo911 [2016-01-30 08:21:19 +0000 UTC]

Maybe... unless Leo plays it safe and ties him up while he's unconscious; not hurting him, but incapacitating Randy when he wakes up.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AlterEgo911 In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2016-01-30 12:38:54 +0000 UTC]

Randy can set himself on fire to escape the ropes.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to AlterEgo911 [2016-01-31 07:41:57 +0000 UTC]

True, but while he does that, Leo will put distance between them, and this would reveal another of Randy's abilities that Leo can counter.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AlterEgo911 In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2016-01-31 12:46:49 +0000 UTC]

I'm pretty sure that if you set a turtle on fire, it will still feel pain, especially if he launches a fireball at him.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AlterEgo911 In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2016-02-03 12:57:18 +0000 UTC]

But in those battles, Leo has always had his brothers, or someone else to help him out. Randy has more experience fighting solo.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to AlterEgo911 [2016-02-04 07:30:30 +0000 UTC]

Maybe, but Leonardo has fought solo many times too.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AlterEgo911 In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2016-02-04 08:24:37 +0000 UTC]

But Leo has less weapons than Randy. All Randy has to do is pull on '07 Raphael (snap the swords with his sais) and Leo is 90% less of a threat.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to AlterEgo911 [2016-02-06 08:11:13 +0000 UTC]

True, but Randy won't be pulling that stunt so easily. I think Leo would defeat him way too quickly for Randy to come with those tactics.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AlterEgo911 In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2016-02-06 12:18:24 +0000 UTC]

Randy may not be Splinter-tier, but he also isn't a foot soldier. I think he can hold his own long enough. It's not like he has ever lost his temper in the middle of a fight, and it isn't like Leo is the type of warrior to try to get under Randy's skin.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to AlterEgo911 [2016-02-07 07:44:36 +0000 UTC]

Again, good points; still, Leo's smarts, experience, training, clever use of the terrain and overall skill are too much for Randy.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AlterEgo911 In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2016-02-07 13:02:46 +0000 UTC]

There are still some places Randy can hide that Leo cannot even set foot in: A large crowd of people, for example.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to AlterEgo911 [2016-02-08 07:13:02 +0000 UTC]

Yes, but I doubt Randy would take the battle to a group of people, at least not on purpose.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AlterEgo911 In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2016-02-08 12:37:59 +0000 UTC]

I see it more like Randy trying to avoid Leo long enough to think of something to help him pull off an epic win, so he runs into an area crowded with people, de-suits somewhere safe, and hides in plain sight.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to AlterEgo911 [2016-02-09 06:41:16 +0000 UTC]

Wonder if that's allowed in a Death Battle.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AlterEgo911 In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2016-02-09 12:44:16 +0000 UTC]

Good question.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to AlterEgo911 [2016-02-10 06:29:02 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, so far, the battles had been 'non-stop fighting' once they start. If the whole 'retreating while you prepare a new strategy' was allowed, many of the other fights would've had a different outcome; Batman would have escaped in his Batmobile, return a few minutes later with the same BAT-tle suit he uses to go toe-to-toe with Superman, and then he'd have crushed Spiderman.

I meant that in more of a "make sure Leo lost track of him for a moment before ambushing him again" kind of thing.

Jose-Ramiro In reply to AlterEgo911 [2016-02-12 08:20:38 +0000 UTC]

Okay, that can work, but Leo can do the same thing to him; he can take the battle to the sewers.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AlterEgo911 In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2016-02-12 12:52:46 +0000 UTC]

Randy can drop any one of his signature bombs into a storm drain, like a bee-ball to flush him out.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to AlterEgo911 [2016-02-13 07:23:17 +0000 UTC]

True... but that would assuming that Randy is smart enough to do that as a first option; he's more likely to follow after Leo and then do a nauseated face when realizing he's in the sewers. Then, when he tries to look for Leo, he gets pummeled.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AlterEgo911 In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2016-02-13 12:45:02 +0000 UTC]

Randy has been through the sewers before.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose-Ramiro In reply to AlterEgo911 [2016-02-15 07:59:43 +0000 UTC]

Maybe, but going 'through the sewers' isn't the same as 'knowing them perfectly'. Fighting Leo in his home-turf would be an instant lose for Randy.
