Well for now it's indeed easier when I have only minor redesign to do. Flashfire (basically Hot Rod as a Megatron Origins Seeker) and Kimark (Prime Wheeljack "Knighted")for example I "see" them clearly, but Silk and Tetris continue to "evade" me. I may focus on Flash' and Kimark as my nexts so you don't have to wait so long.
The machine will be back to full power soon, just give it a lil' time to drain from its old oil ^^ losing 4 family members in less than 3 monthes, among them my beloved grandpa and my dear dog, can prove a little hard to swallow.

I ask because there is a Dark Wing (courtesy of antepathy) floating around looking for a picture. His design is already there, just black instead of white, same red trim and gold optics. He wants a 'pinup' picture *rolls eyes at him* to temp Drift with ... like Drift needs tempting. He's even willing to supply photo pose refs if desired.

A variant on him, yes. He's not SG, but he is mirrorverse. He's currently 'playing' with a normalverse Drift in 'Darkness and Lightning' (should start posting soon). If you don't enjoy drawing pinups, at least you've learned something. If you do, that opens up a whole new (and very popular) genre of commissions. It's useful either way. If it's a nightmare, just tell me.

I am the fic's author.

Since gender don't exist in a physical context, gay and strait do not exist. mech and femme are, at most, frametypes, not genders as we know them. He and she in association are translation issues into English, because we have no common pronouns for 'none gendered people', especially not back in the early 80's. That's canon and has been for a long time.

"Female Autobot Arcee appeared, despite the comic book stating the Transformers had no concept of gender, with her backstory of being built by the Autobots to quell human accusations of sexism." you can find that in the last paragraph in the G1 (1985–1993) section here [link]

From a panel at botcon, the questions/answers or updated by facebook and each one of them said the same thing. if you want to see the stuff go [link] you'll see a gray box called transformers brand panel, wait for it to load then press the replay button. scroll down till 1:32 till you see 3 comments "solus prime - forger, pinkish purple", "female transformers?" and the last one is "the look of "female" is technically only 1/13 of the population there's no GENDER, there's just that "look"." These comments were made from writers/designers themselves.

Sorry, but not being the fic's author I have nothing to do with Drift's gender orientation. I just lend my pencil for illustrations.
I suggest you read IDW's "Spotlight: Arcee" though : you might be surprised about the official turn on TF gender orientation.

Honestly, my brain hadn't much work to do here - with the base frame already existing (Wing)I had only minor restyling to make it more "feminine". The colors I followed 's directives. At first I used to think she'd got a Gundam Epyon vibe, but this feeling is fading with time.

Haha, and this is why I NEVER tidy my office up. Despite parents' opinion, I have a kind of order - an "understandable-only-to-me" kind of order, that is. And if office gets cleaned up it takes me forever to find something afterwards XD

Ups and downs - more downs. Told you I'd lost my dog back to end september. I lost my grandfather as well on Nov.5th. And a cousin to my dad shot himself the following week. Family's been trying hard to remember what a "happy day" consists of lately. Hope Xmas will help :/ will be hard, though because last Xmas we had we celebrated with Grandpa and Nemo alive and kicking... Ghosts will take some time stopping to haunt us, it seems

Grimlock might be in it, I think I recall ? I'm not much of a gamer, so I'm not really hooked to game news (unless said game happens to have the Knights in it, that is ^^). I do have both of Alex Irvine's novels in the WFC continuity, though ^^

Whoaaaaaa they are freaking AWESOME!!!!!!!

I liked IDWs potrayal of him, it was nice-that and finally seeing where all the views of Prowl being a Prick came from(I was like-HOW can one character be like this in one universe and this in another)...< very early on in my fan days-I know better now.

I like his G1 potrayal for giggles and it generally makes for fun fanfiction but I do agree, for something even remotely more serious IDW Grimmy is the go.
