Nice colours and models, not sure about the lighting some of the refraction don't look 'right'. Still Looking cool.

You know, I'm looking at this and telling myself that it doesn't look soothing at all .. like if one were to sit on it or whatnot, but the blue-ishness of it all makes it pleasant for me. Like some sort of icicle growing upwards or something of the sort (so, yeah, a 'liquid tree'! Perfect title!).
Good stuff, brothah'.

I wouldn't say there is techncially anything wrong with it, so normally I wouldn't like to comment on artistic differences. But since you asked me to, I will.
To make this image even better, you should give it something to reflect. Make a couple very large cubes off the sides (so you cant see them) with above white (maybe 8 in the V of the color slider in HSV not RGB) surface shaders on them. If you don't want to do that, you could use an HDR image on a sphere, but there's a lot less customizing in using an HDR iamge instead of using your own bright cubes to light it.
Also, if you want to add a bit more realism, you could even use the dielectric_material on it instead of the blinn that you used. It's very easy to use and won't require any of that special stuff you did (unless of course you want to do that stuff for a specific reason). Just an Idea. Then again I'm insane about that shader

I can't render anything (not that I have the software to do it anymore), and I'm easily impressed by those that can make...anything with it. Bravo.
